Selecting the Correct Blade
Selecting the correct TPI
Selection of pitch is also of considerable
significance for precise and fast cutting. A careful selection
guarantees long life with proper cutting performance. Incorrect
selection of Blade TPI results in taper cutting, blade jamming, blade
tooth blunting, blade cracking and damage etc. Break in Procedure
All new blades possess very sharp teeth edges. This
causes micro fractures at normal cutting rate due to excess vibrations.
It is recommended that approximately 20 minutes of solid cutting or 300
sq. Cm. Of material should be cut at 40% of recommended feed at normal
speed. Proper break-in, rounds-off sharper edges and ensures longer
blade life.
Special Tooth Design for Sawing "Difficult to cut material." PIVOT: This tooth design is available in large dimensions and course pitches. Leading tooth is grounded with added positive rake angle to give better penetration to cut SS, non-ferrous alloys and exotic alloys. WEP: Highly positive tooth design with wider tooth setting provides extra advantage in cutting SS, high alloy and tool steel and heavy cross sections with stress. WAW: This tooth design features marginally shaved off backing forming wave type design, that provides extremely efficient sawing performance while cutting SS and Titanium / Zirconium based alloys. it can also be combined with WEP design. M-51: M-51 edge with 10% Cobalt and 10% Tungsten offers very high resistance to the heat. This saw blade is immensely used for heavy duty cutting applications. Special tooth design can be applied to M-51 Grade saw blades. Magnum Carbide We manufacture and supply magnum carbide tipped bandsaw blades, which are mostly used for sawing different tough alloys like cobalt, nickel, zirconium and titanium based metal etc. These blades provide the alloys extremely good surface finish. We offer a range of high grade saw blades, which are
useful for cutting host of materials like stainless steel, high alloy

the backing material of these blades maximum durability. The teeth of
these saw blades are made of alloyed HSS with 8% Cobalt & 10% Moly.

We present premium quality cost-effective blades,
which feature positive and neutral rake angle tooth design useful for
cutting different type of materials. M-42 edge provides these blades
high heat resistance and enhances their working life. Backing material
of these blades is specially developed and alloyed with chromium to
provide excellent durability. These blades are well suitable for cutting
all common steels. (M-42, 67-68 HRC).
